Just a quick question about the 26/27 Ford roadster.
Did they come with seat springs? If so are they particular to the roadster or are they shared with any other models or years?
And if they do have springs does anyone have any for sale?

You should do a little more research first.
A quick look in the Snyders 2011 catalogue that I have here and is probably online for 2019.
It shows new seat springs for a 1926/27 roadster, touring and roadster pickup as being the same.

I'll let you take it from there...

Don't forget to report back on your success.

26-7 T roadsters are small. Original seat and springs set the driver in an upright seating position.
Most builders like a lower seat so your sitting in, not on the car. If you have a stock seat riser one way to lower the seat a little (1 1/2"-4") is to modify the seat base and use foam without springs. I used webbing on the underside of the seat base.

Hmm...my project came with a set of seat springs but they don't appear to fit. Now that I see there's a wood base that they attach to it's got me wondering if maybe these actually go with the car. I'll try to get a pic with measurements. Sounds like I should go the foam route though. I'd like to sit IN it not be sticking up in the air.
