Greg who puts on our coffee runs on Sunday mornings also organizes a mid week run usually once a month. Different venues at a lunch spot. This one was to a seafood restaurant in the northern bay area of Scarborough. A bit of a wild day there on the water as we have a category 2 cyclone bearing down on the east coast of Queensland. Today was probably the last day of "good weather". Expecting 4-6 inches of rain per day over the next few days and 130kph winds with king tides as well. Good turnout for the lunch with maybe 25 cars(some not HAMB friendly) and around 70 people. The red 32 hiboy roadster in picture 10 is a new build and been on the road just 2 weeks. Built by one of the pioneers of hot rodding in south east Qld, Joe Pring. His history goes back to the mid 60's when he built a channeled 28 Pontiac roadster.
