Frantz toilet paper oil filter... anybody use them?

An earth moving company that i worked for had one that held four rolls of paper, it was mounted behind the cab on their prime mover. Had to hook them out with a piece of wire. It was a road train spec UD ex Australian army.

 

Ive been using my Frantz filter for 5 years now. I Use John Wayne TP. and it works as advertised.

 

i just sold one of those on ebay. Thought it was pretty cool, (it came off my 1955 jeep) It was all stainless, & really well built. My boss told me that they made the oil "look" clean, when really all it was doing was just bypassing the paper all together
