Had a great time at the awards banquet last night hanging out with my Southeast Gassers family! 2018 was a great season and I was very honored to come in 7th in points, because the SEGA is the baddest group of drag racers out there. I’m ready for the 2019 season, ready to step up to A gas, and run the new car, and I’m most excited to see dad in competition in the 57 in C gas. This season is going to be the best one yet for the SEGA!

Dad did well in his first race in the 57, and had a blast. Gotta get him some practice on the tree, and a little more speed, but the 57 drove well as always, and did great wheelies!

 

Dad is getting the hang of it, and the little small block is coming around. Dad qualified 8th out of 16, and won first round this past weekend! His first round of eliminations in the car!

Been mainly focusing on my 55 this season and haven’t had the 57 out much, but just bought a few goodies for him. He’s gonna build a little stouter motor and add injection to try to get a little faster in the super competitive C gas category

I miss the bad banana in SEGA, any chance you'll be back?

 

I am committed to the DGas class. Right now DGas is only exhibition. Until I can get several cars running here in Texas I probably won't make the trip back east much. The Alabama races are the closest. The rest are 1000 miles one way at least.
