This reminded me of a story my wifes grandfather would tell. One snowy day the truck came to pick up the cans of milk for the the day got stuck in the driveway. PapPap went and got the horses hitched up and hooked them to the truck. Motioned for the horses to go and they wouldn't move or pull for anything. Not quite sure why they wouldn't pull, the truck driver said for him to go back to the barn and hook the wagon up and then hook the chain from the wagon to the truck. Not believing it would work he did as he was asked as he didn't have all day to fool with this stuck truck. Needless to say once he did that he motioned for the horses to go and sure enough they pull the truck all the way out to the paved road
