Status?

 

Hey everyone. We are confirmed to meet THIS Wednesday, 6-9 (Feb 20). There is plenty of parking in the lot in front of the shop. For the first night, I will just have everyone enter through the office which is directly across from the football field. If you have any trouble finding us call me at 3one736three04four0. (for Goggle maps search Ignition Arts)

Since this has been my hair-brained idea I will provide the basics for dinner. If you want to bring drinks or anything from this list for future Wednesdays, I would welcome it:

- condiments
- soda
- beer
- chips
- paper plates/bowls
- drink cups
- disposable spoons/silverware
- napkins
- ice

At this point between Scooby and here on the HAMB, I am guessing we might see 15 attending.

Hey - Scooby has arranged for a Cajun meal from a restaurant he has a connection to. Plan to pitch in $10 if you can for food. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

 

Hey Gordon - I'm Brian. There will be a number of folks from the group that know each other, but I joined the gorup when I first moved to Indy not knowing anyone and was welcomed in as if I was a regular.

WOW, great first night... Meet lots of new people... Ignition Arts is a fantastic business in a historic building. MacCustom was a great host.. Scobby brought some great Cajun for Yo Momma Rouex's ...

Those of us in N.W. Indiana might go down as a group one of these nights, or wait for a Saturday meeting. Jim

 

Here's what happened last night:
Basically a meet and greet, and open the floor for ideas.
Uncle Scooby provided us with a welcome dinner from "YoMamaRoux" at 8950 E.10th Street, and WOW was it good.. (look at the pics to see....) MacCustom set some ground rules, and gave us a tour of the great historic building they are in.. It was casual, fun and meet some kool guys... We decided that we were going to start next week on a "A" Coupe fix up.. to get us started. Looking forward to Wed nights again..
