Does anybody remember or know if this car still exists?? I grew up in Maple Heights, Ohio a suburb of Cleveland. I purchased it in 1965 the year I graduated from HS as a stalled project. It had a non running 265 SBC with a side mount bellhousing, Chevy 3 speed with the Hurst Split plastic knob and a tri-five Chevy rear end. I think I paid around $275. for it. I got it running, installed a set of Honest Charlies fiberglass rear fenders, patched up some rust, and painted it 1966 GM Manarina Blue. I drove it for 2 years while attending John Carroll in University Heights, Ohio. I sold it in 1967 for $750. By that time I had a 270 HP 283 and a T-10 4 speed in it.
@D2Denny, Not sure if this is the same car or not but it sure has alot of similarities and it's located right in the same area to this day.
I can't remember the guys name off the top of my head, I will find out. It is still in the Cleveland area. Maybe @hotrodhoodlum will chime in. He may know who it is.
I dig this photo but wanted to take a little artistic license with it. Boost the color a bit, restore the border and eliminate the oil spots. I wanted to give it that old Instamatic look of the '60s. I hope that's okay with you.
quick85 Thanks for the upgrade. Looks like I took the photo yesterday!! I'll save this one in my files
