Technical 41 Pick Up with Sling Shot

Just installed twin 97s on a sling shot.
Got the stock throttle and choke cables which don’t reach
What have others done it get around this issue?

 

On the throttle I used the stock accelerator pedal I ordered aaf-all54173 quick disconnects from Summit Went to the hardware store & bought 1/4 rod & jam nuts cut & threaded the ends to fit the disconnects & made my linkage with this I think it would work on the choke also

 

Thanks will take a look. Old cars always throw up a new challenge
