To those whose cars prefer to lay on the ground like a good loyal dog.

What mufflers do you run? Looking to replace the current set, as they touch a little when I lay the car out. Just figured I would see if anyone found a nice "thin" or low height muffler they actually liked.

Running basic iron headed, iron exhaust manifold 350 Chevy, with kids in the back seat most of the time, so I don't really want a loud glass pack under the car.

You can always get longer glass packs to quiet them down

Try Spin Tech. I haven't used them but they make a very thin muffler.

Yep. Get them from Classic Chambered Exhaust. He makes a great, quality product. I've got a pair on my Comet...............

Porter mufflers are very strong. For sound, nothing beats the Dynomax Super Turbo #17749. They have the great vintage turbo muffler sound..

Love walker / dynomax turbos, same company, not a low profile though. A long glasspack may work, as long as you can get rid of the rasp and cackle.

Muttley, That chambered sounds great, whats it like at highway speed?

Thanks. It's pretty rowdy on acceleration but smooths out quite a bit at an even cruising speed. I need to get a video of mine in motion.

This is a great video for sound comparison:
