I have a set of 15" Hallcraft wire wheels on my roadster, circa 1972-74. I'm looking for the correct inner and outer cone and cup numbers to fit '39 Ford spindles, and hopefully a steel and rubber grease seal to replace the felt seals that are installed currently. I read previous threads that said Hallcraft and subsequent owners are no longer in business, and there doesn't appear to be any surviving technical information. The cone/cup sets that are installed are mismatched; Timken races and Bower bearings. I suspect one pair or the other (or both) to be incorrect because the castle nut on one side was on backwards (!?!?) in order to fit a cotter pin. That side also has a scorched spindle washer. My operating theory is someone tried to match up the original sets and didn't have all the necessary information to fit the proper sets.
timken and bower do interchange. either set of numbers should set you up. other wise i can't help you.

I have 16” with: National seal 473229 Inner cone17119 (with inner radius ground .140 like 15118) Inner cup 17244 Outer cone 09067 Outer cup 09195 Outers are f100 narrower than on A-47 09074/09196
I have that info; I suspect some of the parts are incorrect because of the issue with the castle nut on one side. Everything measures to spec on the workbench. Thank you for your reply.
This is what I have: Inner cone 15118 Inner cup 15245 Outer cone 09078 Outer cup 09195 Felt grease seals w/ aluminum spacer washers What I suspect due to the tight fit is that the cone/cup sets are incorrect for the felt seals and aluminum washers. I like your direction to change the outers to 09067/09195. That should save .070". The inners you recommend look like they are .630" deep, compared to .750"- .8125". However, as near as I can tell the bore of the 17119 inner is 1.875", whereas the 15118 is 1.895". I'm not certain how to handle that difference or whether to attempt the 17119/17244 combination. The seal sounds great, but my inner cup bore is 2.441", with a seal surface 1.565"+/-. I was leaning toward a 471827 seal. That looks like it could be a better fit. Thanks. Upon further consideration of your information, plus some careful measurements, I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest the Timken cups were OEM in these rims, so that means the outer T09195 and inner T15245 cups are correct. My outer cone of (Bower) 09078 was likely substituted for a 09067. That gives me back most of the length I need. My inner cone of (Bower) 15118, again, while not shown as a correct pair with the 15245, fits the spindle radius properly. The overall thickness of the inner set is approximately .750". I feel this is a better trade-off than looking for approvement beyond the .070" I gained from changing the outer cone. Lastly, the Timken 471827 seals look like a good bet. Dimensionally, it matches my measurement. Thanks for the assistance.
As long as you stay in the same series number you’re good. (15000 & 09000) Find your bore pick a length a radius then choose a cup OD, length and radius and then you will have a bearing width. Thanks for the tip on matching the series numbers! Great stuff! I looked at your 16", and they look like the real deal. The spool looks like mine. I'm attaching Before and After powdercoating pics. They were too rusty to clean up, and it wasn't cost effective to strip and re-chrome them. I really am trying to preserve what I can to keep it as a '70's Classic T-bucket. Any suggestions on a 15" tire, rim strip, and tubes? It had Pirelli 145 SR 15's. I'm looking at Firestone F560 Radials. With the new numbering, the 145's recommend 4"- 5" rim width, while the 135's recommend 3.5"- 4.5" rims. Mine only measure 3" or so. I'm uncertain whether to stick with the 145's for the profile, or drop down to the 135's due to the rim width. As always, Thanks!
