Did some more work this weekend. Slowly picking away at it. I did some more on the floors and started putting in a battery box. Here are 2 more pictures. My 9 year old daughter just came down to the garage. She saw it and said cool dad. She's my future hot rodder. I'm slowly teaching her about old cars and hot rods. IMG_20180421_194421.jpg IMG_20180421_194442.jpg

Your body closely resembles the European Deuce that had suicide doors. Where the Hell are all of these jewels? Don't recall ever seeing one ! Good luck.

Would there be much cutting up to "slip" a SBC/700R4 between the sheets, lower it a bit, then drive it like ya stole it? That is a beautiful ride as it sits. Oh, I forgot Vintage Air a/c-heat. That makes it a year-round cruiser. Now, I have to buckle my non-traditional seatbelt and get ready for the flak. LOL

Well have not been doing too much. I got the front post looking good. When I did the chop. It made it not look right. I also did some work on the rear of the body and have been doing some dolly work. IMG_0131.JPG IMG_0132.JPG IMG_0134.JPG IMG_0139.JPG IMG_0141.JPG IMG_0045.JPG IMG_0044.JPG

Your looking good. I had to fuss with my wind shield posts also after welding from the chop.

So not been doing too much. Doings small things here and there. I finally got around to bending the steering arms and got some steering linkage on. I will still need to magna flux them. I also need to get the pitman arm on the Vega box figured out. The ford tie rod don’t fit right. The hole seems a little too big. So if someone knows. Where to get pitman arm to fit the 35 Ford tie rod part number would be great. I did also work on the driver side door some. IMG_2726.JPG IMG_2728.JPG IMG_2733.JPG IMG_2732.JPG IMG_2309.JPG

Your looking very good and have accomplished a lot. On the pitman arm I am pretty sure ( can not find my invoice) I used Speedway part # 7022924- SS ( stainless $74.99) there is also Part # 7022924-PLN (plain $54.99). Would like to see more pictures on your door repairs. Mine are also crap.

Love what you are doing ! Those mounts are very artfully done -and they aren't going anywhere !
