I thought about driving down but the roads are too nasty and unpredictable between here and there to go. Some of the PNW cars entered in the show may have a hard time getting hauled down.

need to be in town for set up today -- years back friend had his chopped Merc driven to Cal Expo, about a 100 mile drive, in heavy rain by a couple of friends - they could feel the car bobbing in high water while sitting in traffic at Benecia Bridge - kicker was that owner looked at dash and told them that there was plenty of gas - when show was over he ran out of gas before exiting the building where his car was - he had looked at wrong gauge before car left his house

  5. Yeah it can be really spotty going over the hill climbs near the border. Haven't heard of many Portland area cars heading that way. This weekend is also the Salem Roadster Show.

I have a sour taste of the Autorama when we showed Taboo there a couple of years ago. The ISCA judges were some of the worst at that show that I have seen.

The show itself was decent, some fantastic cars. Felt bad for the various clubs in the stockyard room. We got locked in on the grounds during tear down, no one to help with getting out of the place. It by far a 180 from the experience from showing in the GNRS a year prior.

ISCA judges. Police intelligence. Honor among thieves.

    Oxymorons, one and all.

"Hey! Where's your ISCA decal??? No judging for you!" -ISCA Nazi.

Dang, I was going to go on the way back from picking up this smoking deal on a car trailer I found on CL. But I just heard back from the "seller":

    Hello,
I'm emailing you about 2017 Covered Wagon 7x12 14ft inside enclosed cargo.
I have dropped the price at $800 (including delivery to your home address) because recently, i own this trailer and I don't need it. I need to sell the trailer before 23th February, when I will be leaving the country for a year on military duty along with my medical team. I do not want to store it and lose more because of devaluation.
I attached more pics with my trailer!
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you!?

  10. Jalopy Joker, please post photos for those of us that are interested in seeing the cars and not just bashing ISCA.
    Thanks.
