It seems life has a way of changing things, and as much as I hate to, other priorities require I sell my comet wagon. Specs....... -1 of 623 2 door comets made in 1963 -heavily modified 200 six, with a C4 transmission (this thing will do 90mph no problem) -8" rear axle -SSBC disc brakes, with dual bowl master cylinder -custom interior by Howard McKee of lakeside Ca. -Vintage Air air conditioning -power gen 1 wire alternator -lowered 4 inches -Ididit chrome column with tilt and column shift -custom painted roof, and wood sides -hand made longboard rearview mirror AAA grade koa and mahogany -Matching antique cooler included (custom painted like the roof) -custom bell flower exhaust done by Ed Hanson (this is one of the last cars Ed did himself before he sold his business) Cons..... -small rust patch in roof area above passenger side a pillar roughly 2"x2", (I have a good solid patch panel from a donor car to fix this, which is included.) -rides very stiff due to lowering, maybe raise it back up an inch. -Have a stereo just needs to be installed -Belts squeal when AC is turned on -Couple of suspicious spots along roof by the gutter -Very hard to part with as it is a lot of fun to drive -Takes 15minutes to get gas because people always stop to tell you a wagon story
