I notice Offenhauser Sales Corporation is on the list. I went to their website, and they have the same .pdf catalog that Belmont Speed had for years. I can't believe that all of the old stuff appears to still be available. I sent them a request for an Olds Rocket remote oil filter adapter that I need. It'll be interesting if I hear back from them and what they have to say.
Buck a week is pretty painless for supporting this great board. Always improving, always striving for excellence. Appreciative In NC.
I have to give an 'Atta Boy!' to Ryan for putting this all together. I've been 'WD' with Strange Engineering for over 20years and at Ryans suggestion I approached them about special pricing for Alliance Member's traditional race cars and they are anxious to show their support. The 5% discount will be the minimum, a guideline, the actual discount will be greater depending upon the item. I remember years ago at the annual Bowlin Green Annual HR Reunion I was helping the Ramchargers push the High & Mighty thru staging lanes while trading insults with Bob Stange (owner of Strange) and Ron Caps as they each pushed a tire on the 'Winged Express' AA/FA in the lane next to us with Chris Karamisines adding color. Those guys get it, they know what its all about.
I visited Millworks last summer after going to a Boston Red Sox game. They have taken over a retiring long time Model A shop. Great little building with lots of cool stuff! Had a very nice visit and bought a few things while there. Check 'em out!
For the life of me I can't remember how to tell when its time to renew my alliance membership. I've been an alliance member for a while but I'm drawing a blank here. Do we get notification??
Mine comes due three days after Christmas and that is my Me to Me Christmas present. I do it to support the board and some day I'll remember to ask for the discount. I obviously spend enough time here that my wife has been know to ask "You Hambin again?"
It's been 11 days and no response from Offenhauser. How did you contact them? I used the email form on their website. Is there a better way?
