Besides the pickup bed I posted earlier, this frame was at the same place. Any idea what it is from? Parallel leaf front, and there is an I in a circle and an S in a circle with other numbers/letters on the spring perches. Thanks again. 20190209_122910 (2).jpg 20190209_122942 (2).jpg 20190209_123019 (2).jpg 20190209_123030 (2).jpg

I don't think so. This looks like it had a gas tank in the rear and the bed was on a partial other frame.

Looks like early 30s Chevy or GM going by front cross member, F&R spring hanger brackets which incorporate bumper iron bolt holes. Look for a stamped serial number here, my 35 Chebby has a feint hand stamping on the outside face of the LH frame rail in the area under cowl. Only a guess

the next to last pic showing the tapered pin shackle ...Mopar & Chevy used those, I think called Tyron shackles.

...."and" the 2 bolt bracket ahead of it with a large hole..That sure looks like very late 20s-very early 30s Mopar hyd brake hose fitting support. Mopars in those years used a huge thread size fitting on the ends of the rubber flex hoses, like the size of that hole...and Mopar did have a 2 bolt bracket.

I think it is 29-30-ish Mopar...but not Dodge as they were not using many common parts from the Plymouth, DeSoto, and smallest 6cyl Chryslers in those early years

also look at the upturned top of framerail lip in the cowl & front seat area...that really rings a bell...as I had quite a few 29-31 DeS & Plys around 45 years ago. I just can't recall for sure, but I thought that lip was a new design change around 1930...but I don't trust memory that long ago.

@31Dodger really knows Mopars and lots of owners....and might be able to verify that it is at least, a Mopar. IDK

  8. Here is a slightly modified 1929 Chrysler chassis, but only the rear cross member over the fuel tank looks correct. 1929 Chrysler frame.jpg

That fuel tank cover is spot on, so I imagine it is a mopar frame of some sort. As F&J said...it does have an upturned section of the frame about at the hood area.

  11. I saw that upturned edge near the front, but I do not remember that on my 1929 Chrysler Model 75.

  12. Looks like a 1930 DeSoto CK chassis, maybe.

I have to agree that it is Mopar, and I am pretty sure the upturned flange came out during 1930 production, even on Desoto late production model K which ran from August 1928 to Spring of 1930.

I never had a CK, and I know one late production Desoto K 6 car I owned had that flange detail.

I suppose you can exclude the small 1930 Chrysler 66 Six as I believe their front fenders bolted to the sides of the front frame rails. I see 1/4" holes on top of this frame like Ply and DeS.

I never had a 30 Desoto CF Eight, so I can't comment on those differences.
