Looking for proper fitment on #1. c.i. motor size and #2. years of application for this Vintage Weiand 6 pack Manifold. Mopar pros I see postings for this on ebay including my own but unsure of actual fit. Not sure if LB or RB motor or exactly what. I compared it to a Mopar tunnel ram which is 383/400 RB and the head angle appears to be the same. Good information appreciated. Thanks
Thanks but that just takes me back out to the internet for a bunch of stuff i have already seen. looking for professional knowledge at this point. Appreciated though.
your intake is for the b block which is 361-383-400 the rb which stands for raised block 413-426-440, the bolt pattern for the heads is the same so heads will interchange. the intakes will not the difference is in the width of the lifter valley the b intake is about 12 inches were the rb is about 13 inches. three- 3 bolt carbs would seriously starve a healthy big block.
I agree with what @grimmfalcon138 said above, but Chrysler had a bewildering array of engines BITD. That WPD39 manifold is for the B, or LB engines as some called them with the first RB (raised block, or tall deck) engine being the long stroke 413. The 413 was the 1959 replacement for the 392 hemi in the Chrysler 300 letter series cars. The hemi was deemed too costly to produce because of the valve train. There was both a low deck B (LB) 383 and a tall deck RB version with slightly different strokes. AFAIK the B engines were 350, 361 some 383’s and the 400. RB’s were 413, 383, 426 and 440. Regardless, it is not the angle of the intake face you need to be concerned with, it is the width between those surfaces. The taller deck blocks require a wider manifold or fabricated spacers to adapt the WPD39 to a tall deck RB block.
