Anyone have any experience with the bulldog camshaft for the 235/261 engines? Are they solid or hydraulic lifter? I have one that I am thinking of using in my 261 for my business coupe.Any help would be appreciated.

I tried that as well as emailing them and received no reply. I believe its a solid lifter cam but I want to be sure of that.

I do have a Bulldog cam in my engine. It came from Langdon. It is a 3/4 mild grind and it is a solid lifter cam. I have a 54, 235 that was bored .060 over when re built. I also have an 848 head.

The cam will be going in my 1960 261 with an 848 head, fenton headers, and rare mcgurk intake for stromberg 97's. It will also have a liberal doe of old aluminum dress up parts. Its going in my 1947 chevy business coupe. Should be a real nice piece when done.
