  4. I second that! Old North State is the best. Been to every one since it started. Killer cars and awesome people. It's not so much a car show as friends getting together to hang out and then go to Hurleys house!

  5. @Ryan if you could make it to Minnesota I am way overdue to host another brewery cruise. This would be a great reason to get another on the calendar.

I would be down for that. Do I need to bring my own saddle?

We meet every Wednesday for lunch. Used to be over ten of us, but sadly age and health issues has us down to four.

We also do a pre-show cruise before the old north state invitational. Eat breakfast, drive around to cool spots to park your car and take pictures, then all drive into the show together. Here are a few shots of the pre show cruise and the invite only after party. It’s a fun full day. @MayDay

This is the greatest idea ever... and it's a stark reminder that we're overdue for a weekend BBQ-slash-breakfast run our own selves.

  19. Amarillo, first Saturday of every month, weather permitting..............TODAY!!! suppose to 70's this afternoon for the monthly cruise. Late afternoon, Hillside and Bell. Should be really good today. A little of everything, varies from 30 or cars so on up to 70-80ish. I'll bring my camera.

  20. The best small event I have attended was the winter drags in Port Crane N.Y. last February.
Just like the old days a bunch of guys (and girls) made some phone calls got together raced, grilled some food, and had fun.
This event came together in 2 weeks.
Nothing this winter but talk of something in spring.

Gravel road? Did you just say gravel road? I sure don't know many guys that would drive down a hundred yards of gravel, let alone a couple miles. Jesus man, I suppose you leave your cars out in the rain also? Sorry, but I just love being an arsehole, and my friends say I'm good at it. Seriously, I would come if I were a LOT closer, and I'd love to see pics of this happening.

@NoSurf had a long gravel driveway off a longer gravel road and had tons and tons of cars show up every year :)

What a effin' cool idea! Out in the Northwest here, the Offenders car club has a great show in late July at a 60 year old bowling alley called The Blowout. Just something to think about.

SDC14048.JPG For a really long road trip , a a really long 'plane flight, the Kustom Car Club here in Christchurch , New Zealand celebrate breakfast on first Sunday each month.
Starts around 8, have breakfast or a cup of coffee, or just walk 'round and look. All gone by lunch time.
Typically around 200 cars, everything from restored Vintage models to T buckets, lots of '50s and 60's models through to Current Corvettes and Mustangs. SDC14045.JPG SDC14045.JPG SDC14046.JPG

    LMFAO
They say do what you like and you'll do it well...lol.
Of course, it would have to be only hot rodders who don't mind (love) throwing a little gravel. And maybe doing a little roundy-round in the back 40...in the freshly-cut hay field.
We can clean 'em up with the pressure-washer. :)

Same here. Did you catch the hot rod action in "The Giant Claw" last weekend?
