A lot of you guys are new to Mick but he is a special person to me.

There is a lot of drama in the Willys world and I am no saint when it comes to sh*t talkin. But with all of the negative crap that they say about me, Mick has ALWAYS been my friend and someone that I trust.

When I lettered my car, I only chose my true Willys friends and Mick made the cut and got his own space on my trunk lid.

Yer a good dude Mick!! And you have one hell of a GORGEOUS car!

I'll let him tell you what MFB stands for.

I'm kinda new around here myself, but Mick strikes me as the kind of guy that "walks softly and carries a BIG stick" . Seems like a real class act to me! No need for him to brag, his standards of workmanship show more than words can say!

Four of us went to the Benicia Car Show in 2012, four Willys.
Dave R's black 40 pickup, his wife Vicki's red 40 sedan and our friend Butch with his 1928 Willys,
    now that's definitely something different.
57 Olds powered with 6 twos and a LaSalle 3-speed trans,

He did a fantastic job with that Corvette. It’s hard to believe that he traded a dirt bike for it looking at those pictures but like you said it was very rough when he got it. I really like his build style. I wonder if he still has it.?Mine is mostly complete and is a good project and the early Corvettes are getting more difficult to find. That drag boat is over the top cool and the only question is how fast do you want to go in it?

  14. The two port for drag week is being converted to efi. They guy is my neighbor and liked my converted four port.

The Brad Anderson hemis are bad ass. a screw blower parked on top is even better. I had a bae fat head in the 65 dodge. It's cool to see one in a boat.

  18. Mick, my 40 is in pieces . I drive and drag race my model A coupe. It is a real deal drag car from the 60s. Her is a pic. Hope you do not mind. Mike. image1img_2303-75123664.jpg WIN_20150412_144412.JPG

  19. Funny you mentioned about roll cages. I am currently installing a 12 point cage. It is a very challenging project, but I am getting it figured out. The car has a 57 pontiac rear, 488s, all the good stuff. I have a thread on upgrading it called bringing up the rear. The car hooks up extremely well, old technology does and can be made to work well. The car was a altered in the 60s. I run nostalgia events mostly. She is now running in the 9.20-9.50 range . Took some time to get there. LOL. She is crazy, will go down track smooth and without getting out of shape and then she will give you a wild OH S#%T ride the next. The 40 will be gasser, someday .

  20. Pic of the rear. Chunk and axles built by Fabcraft Metal Works, They are the go to for these rears. They have everything for them. The 488s really turned her into a monster. Speaking of mavericks, I am helping a friend here and there build a Grabber he has.

  22. I will post some pics when I get further along with it. Yea I know of Wanda and Larry from here on the board. I love the cars they do. The tribute to Charlies car is fantastic. The filthy 40 had a 283, and would pop the front wheels off the track in all 4 gears with Pork Zartman at the wheel. Charlie gave instructions, that the car never be washed. LOL. One of my favorite gassers of all time.;)

  27. Mick. Quains willys was injected but I think he went back to a tunnel ram.All the South East Gassers are stick, or most of them. To my knowledge Quian is involved with the Moonlighter willys. Runs a ford engine. A real gasser from way back, Gene still racing the car.
