  9. It certainly was a GREAT time to be a kid. Even though i am a devoted amateur historian ( Cars, Oregon, aircraft, WW2, USN and more ), I'm not big on nostalgia. It was what it was, times always change, everyone always thinks things were best in the era that they were young!
    The 60's were GREAT!

  11. The thing I miss the most about Montreal in those days, was going to Ben's, Dunn's, or Black's on St Lawrence St., for a smoked meat sandwich or platter.

    Great Pics, George. And like someone else said, lucky you to have worked for an innovator like MT.
    From the exhaust header layout, could the engine you are working on be the one for the rear-engined back-up car (City of Long Beach special)?
