Yes he doing well and living in Central Texas. Ted did an engine for him a few years back with dyno sheets and all. Here's a photo of he and I and the recreation of his Manderan Orange/Colonial White 56 Victoria which he drove to Bonneville from Huoston in 1956 and raced when we visited last year.

His shop is kinda “ crowded” isn’t it? I took him a MEL 462 a year or so ago. He gave me a tour and I don’t think he could fit another y-block in his shop. Never saw so much y-block speed equipment.... everywhere! Met some good people, had fun!

Put the "small" 97 in the middle, claim carbs were optimized for economy/power with progressive linkage.

Or - pick-up three ten dollar Holley 94s at your next swap meet, swap carbs, sell the 97s as a separate package.

Or - don't bother with the above, don't clean anything, just send them to me for $110. (Don't have a Y-block, but have an empty space on the wall.)

I'm impressed with Tex's capabilities! I cannot imagine how to approach modifying a manifold with odd-ball stacked ports, to fit on a conventional in-line port head. Love to see a thread on that operation!

Instead of selling, trade it for something that you need.

At $50 I would be making a profit you don't want to know what I paid for this.

I have a feeling the one odd ball carb may be jetted to match the other 2, I want to tear them down and find out.

Me to. Especially since the Buick has a different port sequence than the Ford or most OHV V8s. Really like to see a picture of that.
