    Amazing '55 'Bird, with '57 368 Lincoln mill; finished in 1961, and purchased in 2012 with 4700 miles, and till wearing the hand-rubbed lacquer paint job!

    Holy crap Mo..........that red bird has hit the mark.... especially that side shot of the car...color..tire/wheel combo....the modifications..and stance...... Words alone aren't enough ...but "sooooo Kooool" and the erection that has formed in my pants pretty much sums up what I think of the car.... tapatalk_1548543172881.jpeg

    The primered '56 and the lavender '55 have the LOOK. Something about a primered in progress custom that just does something for me. Maybe it's the possibilities. Candy red? Light blue with Dark blue metallic scallops? Black with flames? Dark green metallic with a light pearl green roof and side spear....

    I thought the Delray was one of the coolest Chebbies of its day. Starting in '56 (?) it was a 210 post sedan with a greatly upgraded interior.

    I had a friend who had a 55 Del Ray. I agree, the interior was a great upgrade.
