Anxiously awaiting Northwest Deuce Days 2019 which will be held in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia July 19th-21st. Curious to see how many H.A.M.B. guys will be going. My new ride will be making the trip (after upholstery, top will be black) and we made the cut on the entry list!
Post pictures of your cars if you are going so we can keep an eye out for you. Have a safe trip up and hope to see you there.

I’m getting excited to get out there. First time in Victoria, and my maiden voyage in the hot rod.
I just finished it and it’s my first ever build, so fingers crossed we make it out there. Haha. 12A48EED-446F-465B-AC08-12E80DDA5E58.jpeg B1A5730E-9CDA-476B-A814-722614166C08.jpeg

That turned out very nicely I was following your build. Great looking little tub, I bet it's going to be fun to drive and the Y Block will probably sound good too.

I'll be there. Taking the Model A this year, had my Deuce roadster there in '13 and '16, absolutely one of the best shows to attend.

Bill, this is off topic from deuce days but I wanted to say your other model a build thread was a huge influence to me. It solidified what I wanted in a hot rod 5 years before I even bought the body.
This picture of it in your garage was something I had printed off and stuck on the garage wall for inspiration. It was such a motivator. Thanks!
Your new coupe is bitchin as well.

Thank you, This coupe had so much of the same build style of the one I was building is why I have this one now. I always regretted not finishing that coupe but circumstances at the time dictated its departure. However, that coupe was finished by Bobby Walden in Pomona and it's amazing.

They cut registration off at 1200, at least half are Deuces, if not 800.

I drove from Charlotte, NC to Victoria a few years ago. Up through Tennessee and Kentucky to US 50.
    "The lonliest road in USA".
A great trip. No rush. Lots of old stuff to see. Kinsley Kansas, half way NY and San Fran. I dropped down to Four Corners for a photo or two. Came out at Newport Oregon and up old 101 to Port Angeles. Took the ferry to downtown Victoria.

  21. I did the Victoria run in 2013 from northern Illinois. Had dinner and social visit with local Rodders at each overnight stay. At the end I was asked how did you get here? My response was '400 miles a day for five days'.

I'z be there from downunder with a friend but not with our cars. :( We loved it so much in 2016 we decided that we'd come back for seconds. :D
Met up with a few US rodders at DD, after I'd finished the Canadian HR tour, who'd made the long drives from the east coast (NC, NY & MA) to Victoria BC. 20160711_172728.jpg

  25. I cruised with the first rod, but don't recall his name, from Massachusetts. Second one is my late rodder friend Clarke, from NC. The third one is Don from Buffalo.
    Very cool and fun!

I'm registered with my 33 3 window coupe. I've accepted the fact that the car isn't going to make it, (too much to do, to little time), so I'll probably be taking the truck, if the snow ever melts. Technically its a 33 3 window, right?
I'm going to keep on the coupe though, maybe next time.
