Hot Rods Looking for a station wagon project

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Bruce Fischer, Jan 24, 2019.

  1. I am still looking for a station wagon project. It may be on hold for a little while. I had surgery on my ankle yesterday. The Dr. removed a 2 and 1/4 inch screw form the bottom of my foot yesterday, that had worked loose. He said how where you even walking around like that? LOL.I have to use a roll around walker for the next 2 weeks and stay off the left foot. Then I go and see him in2 weeks and hopefully I can go back to work and start searching for station wagons again. It didn't hurt yesterday but it sure does today. As most of you know it is hard for me to just sit down and do nothing{unless I have a drink. LOL.}Check out the picture of the screw. After I heal up the Dr. said I should feel much better. Take care guys. Bruce. 002.JPG

Been on the look out her in SoCal for something unique for you but I realize there is just too much real estate between Socal and Tennessee to make it practical. Good luck on your recovery and search. I had a '65 Falcon 2 dr wagon in HS so I understand the long roof thing.

    Bruce,
Ouestion: How much work are you willing to do? You want a project or a drivable wagon? What kind of price range? Answers would help us to be on realistic watch for you.

  9. Bruce, That screw is too new looking to have been in your old foot!;) Take care, get back on your foot:eek: and behave yourself. Although you probably have too right now:p. Since you have to behave I will not as it isn't any fun:D.

That Stude wagon is a project but is very affordable I would think. Unique too! If I lived closer to it I would consider it

Heal up Bruce. Didn't realize you were ready to find one yet. What price range? Pre-'65?
