You can still see the numbers. I checked to make sure it all matched when I had the body off

I am totally with you on this. I really appreciate keeping original cars together but I like big motored and big tired late 60's builds better. There are plenty of project 40 Ford's out there that are more suited for going full hotrod and they are usually more affordable to start with.

The thing with this one it was too original to start with. Parked up for over 50yrs and original paint.
It’s all new underneath, but with original rebuilt flatty.
Never had any thoughts of repainting

So, after having no luck at all with selling my Coupe a rebuild is afoot.

    Sold the flathead/T5 setup and got myself a 502 BBC & TH400

Had a quick test fit using a Hurst style front mount. Fits a treat with no mods to the firewall.

Possibly. Waiting till I get a short water pump and the radiator installed.
Probably just end up with an electric one.

Engine is sitting on its original mounts so just have to wait and see

Cheers. It’s come a long way. I’ve got it up for sale at the moment. I quite fancy a 68 Charger 4spd

Did you ever get a fan on it?
