This pretty spiffy altered wheelbase (I think) or is it nose forward due to big eight roadster was being searched for by the Daughter of the Fella in the Hotrod...usually I'm not to crazy about the front axle back look but this one really gets a pass in my book.

Sporty Little Turnkey Capsule

1931 Chevy on an altered 47 Ford frame with a 49 Oldsmobile V8 mated to a 39 Zephyr gearbox. This car was custom built by a machinist and his elder engineer brother almost 60 years ago

Another box swap...I wonder if this was done mainly to gain more box space as someone...perhaps the boss himself being a big 40 pickup fan mentioned limitations in carrying things due to size.

Yes Sir I believe you are right on the money......Model A Roadster very smoothed with doors welded shut and a Desoto Grille...I would believe it is a historic survivor possibly posted within the thread on one or two occasions.

Well it's checkered.... I think you know the answer to your observation...but the what is it a Studebaker is sorta not to common as a Hotrod...whats the story on that?

Thankfully there's pics or I would have never known...there were some very high end builders that's for sure...I like the rough edged stuff a lot but these refined examples rock too.
