    Very very cool! Thank you.

    And it ran low 9s!

I can't think of any examples of white hot rod coupes with black fenders.

I'm antsy like a little kid. Seeing current pics is incredible.

@Don Moyer could you post up some other details if you get a moment? I want to see this thing for all it's good, bad, and ugly!

Doggone-it Don, you just negated 8-10 pages of speculation...:D
Man that's cool as hell, and well preserved too! History?
I might have seen it a Quaker, would have been early 80s at latest, don't really recall it though.

Cool that you own the car Don. There are guys out there that if they found the car would street rod it. I have a feeling that with your other stable of old drag cars that Determination will have a pretty good chance of being resurrected as the great looking drag car that it was (and is). With your couple of Willys coupes and this cool coupe you may have the market covered on drag coupes (although the top less Bad Blood somehow ended up in your barn).

    Silver flake. Now we know.
    In my defense...
The blue sky was reflecting off the silver!!!
    Yeah...that's the ticket.
    Cool, Don! :)

  13. It's interesting that is full-fendered but has no splash aprons. I wonder why.

If ONLY, I could have been there when this run was made!!! Beautiful car, beautiful launch, beautiful "time" in this sport. The time I SHOULD have been born in.! Instead, I'm stuck here in the time "I" was born in, and I'm stuck with what the old timers really experienced. I actually envy you guys! I really do. I am Butch/56sedandelivery

  18. fenders are stock.

  19. No, I plan to put them on, they are just like the ones on the Hart Automotive coupe I restored. 0P7A7194.jpg

  20. Local Cleveland car, it was actually red at one point. I have pictures of that somewhere also. Larry Covert was the owner. He purchased the Hart Automotive coupe after Bill Levic died. Pure Determination has been retired since that purchase. I got it from Mark Goode.

Yaller with black fenders. I was around during that time period and that was a popular color combo.
Canary Yaller was very pop back then.
    Soooooooooooooo that settles it!

It doesn't look like a dark gray, like a red would be... I know you said it was red at one point. Maybe yellow?
