Been to both and Barrett Jackson is a bit more ritzy with jewelry and art vendors about.
I was amazed at how many of the old moneybag buyers bring their young looking daughters with them... Lol.

    $700k........

Yes, I know its one of the most famous 32's ever.......but 700k and it was still a no-sale.....that's just utterly mental.
I wonder what his reaction would have been back then, had someone said to him 50 years ago, "This will be worth a million bucks in 50 years time"

Lots of buyers from outside the USA with money to spend. I believe there a 10% selling fee
and a 10% buyers fee. However, even with that, you could not build a vehicle for what they sell for
    at the auction.

Too bad there aren't a few more of those around.
It isn't even necessary to chop the top, it's already done in the factory.
    Beautiful trucks!

  14. Sancho is correct... 37 Stude and it was beautiful

A friend of mine sold a pair of very nice recently completed restamods a truck and a car at the auction at no reserve. Both very well done and expensive builds at over 100 K each, the car went for under 30K and the truck under 50K! For me it's time to quit building ( I can get almost two for the price of one I build here without ever lifting a finger!!!) and have some fun at the auctions!
