Love me some hot rod eight sounds. Had a few bangers that were cool.
    How about some inliners?
Here's mine with 54 vette manifold and straight pipes before glass packs added.

They are however long they are when you upload them to youtube. All you do here is post a link to the youtube site where the videos are actually hosted.

    Hello,

When we had the 1958 348/280 HP Impala, it was a stock, but powerful car. The stock mufflers and motor were fairly quiet until the three carbs all came on with the hydraulic linkage working full time. Plus, being thrown back into the seats was thrilling enough without the sound of the motor. But, at full throttle, it was a little intimidating.

Jump up two years and with the addition of the Racer Brown Cam and Lifter Kit, the C&O Stick Hydro, reworked heads and long tube, Corvette Mufflers, the sound was now in the real race car category. Once everything was in tune, it was a powerful motor to push that big Impala down the road. Adjusting the motor for optimum performance was the weekly chore. Add in some 4:56 rear axle gears and the Impala was pretty much unstoppable in our So Cal cruising area.

The modified motor made enough powerful sounds on start up. But with the addition of the tube Corvette mufflers, the sound increased and it seemed like it was always ready for the start line at Lions Dragstrip. Those days were gone, so it was just a fast street car for cruising and whatever popped up in So Cal. The full throttle acceleration now sounded like being in a supercharged, Gas Coupe at the drags, with the windows rolled up.

The Impala was a very fast heavy sedan for the street. There were other more powerful cars that made the Impala look slow by comparison, but they had 50 to 100 more horsepower in the newer models. So, we were satisfied with our creation and when it was around, we got our anxieties filled to the brim, with the full supercharged 671 SBC 1940 Willys coupe on acceleration.

How did the Impala feel going down the local “Cherry Ave Drags” street? NICE…and powerful...

This sounds as close as possible down the Cherry Ave. drags location.
