Man,I am going to have my 49 monarch chopped after owning it for almost 30 years and after seeing all these nice mercs,it's hard to choose which style to go with. I really like bad bobs and this black one. I guess it's time for a change. One more thing to get off my bucket list. LOL I got to say though,it is a little scary to take the plunge.

Sitting here on van nuys blvd watching all the people cruising by.

  9. nothing against the '49-'51 Mercs...there are a lot that look killer...but with that said, this is how a Merc should look...that is one sexy mutha f... by far one of my all time favorites PERIOD.

hart's merc just proves that you can't buy style..... or class for that matter.

minus the lake pipes, and stuckey's is my favorite... for some reason it just looks to be a couple FEET longer than all the others. long and low, can't beat it.

Yeah, I get the idea that this is mostly for customs, and that this car isn't done in the traditional way. In fact, the build on this includes the two 'B' words most on this site hate to hear; Boyd & Billet. But this is truely my favorite Mercury. And it's a wagon to boot. Sorry if this offends anyone but...

My vote goes to the Ted's Rod Shop 40' Merc. I've had the pleasure of doing some work on it and it truly is a beautiful car.

This one was always one of my favorites. But there were a few things I didn`t like about it. Then I found an earlier pic of it in a more traditional build style. Probaly not the best, but it`s high on my list. I didn`t know where else to post this.
