Spending hundreds or even thousands of hours fixing an old junk car is certainly a waste of time, after all they make new ones and they even come with a warranty...
I am 27 and the majority of my generation spends their free time playing video games, which to me is insanity...I want to have something to show for my time on this earth. Personally I get the most enjoyment out of the tedious/insane tasks when building a car. Ive given up trying to explain "why" to normal people a long time ago, its their loss..

  2. Like sanding louvers, there are tasks that you take a deep breath and dive into. Most of it is putting on your game face and starting off. It usually goes okay once you get going. It was like that when I made the decision to gut the interior on my '59 Ford... gulp...

Looking for a louver specialist that sands them after punching them.
An artizan that does it for the pride of perfection, rather than the added charge. :D

Having been a Toolmaker all my adult life and even in retirement it remains; once a Toolmaker, always a Toolmaker..Which tends to make any project take longer and be more complicated than most would do..
