This one.

 

1948 International KB 1 sold it early 2000's. It went to Bakersfield Ca. Now I'm looking for it ,I would like to see if I can buy it back.

I had a 66 Satellite, 383, 4spd.
I bought it for $400 in 1983. I can't remember what I sold it for but it wasn't much. The car cost me a lot of money, If I wasn't twisting "U" joints out of it, or ruining clutches, I was standing in front of the local judge begging for forgiveness and enrolling in driver training classes to get my points back down below 12.
Here is the only shot I have of it ( I had it on stands installing a posi rear axle)

Yes, my 383 ,4 speed dropped a few drive shafts also [mine was medium turquoise with black western stitch interior]. Damn, I miss that car .Cost me a lot of money in tickets also. The Mopar bug bit again last week after 30 years and I picked up a 64' Polara roller,it's gonna be fun.

The best car I've ever owned, sold about 15 years ago, went to Northern California, has anyone seen it!!!!!

 

Mine would be my 56 Vette, had it for 12 years in storage. Body tags said it was originally Venetian red with white, 265, factory twin 4, powerglide, all numbers matching through and through. It needed more work and money than I could afford. It came from Northern California, it was road raced, which translated to ALOT of front end fiberglass damage. Then it was customized. All the side trim was glassed over, Headlights were extended and frenched, grille was extended and pinched. Painted Candy Purple Flake with Purple shag carpet. How is that for an image. It was black and white tuxedo when I got it. But all the numbers matched. Sold it in 2004, it has been sitting in the new owners garage ever since. someday I may end up owning it again.

I didn't sell,it was stolen in 1964 from my yard in Miami Fla.,found out 7 years later it was under two other junk cars in a junkyard in Sanora Ga. gutted of Rocket V8 an other parts. Not savable at the time.

 

I'd like to have my first car back, 66 Fairlane two door hard top. I sold it because I was 20 and had four cars and couldn't afford one.

I do miss this car, a 32 was my lifelong dream car, owned it 7/8 years. The man I sold it to had it about a year, wrecked it, rebuilt it, sold it, went to Germany. Thinking, selling was not one of my best decisions, Plenty of 32's for sale if I decide to open my checkbook.

 

I had a nice 66 Fairlane GTA, 289 C4. What a great car, I paid $500 in '82. Love to have that one back.

 

In addition to my '29 roadster project...
This 1937 Chevy coupe.
Stored in a barn since the early '60s.
Original, complete, straight, minimum rust. Even the mohair interior wasn't too bad. Had it almost road-ready. Just finished installing a 235 I rebuilt and adapted to the original trans. As you can see, the hood, fenders and running boards were still off. Brakes didn't work yet either. Bombin' around the farm anyway. No problem with about 1/4 mile of driveway. Throwing gravel and fishtailing around the barns. Woohoo!
Unfortunately, sold it "in a fit of responsiblility"...
...as I've heard others here utter and mutter.
Dammit.
Always wanted a '37 or '38 coupe.
Won't ever have another.

It went to the east and was built as a gasser. The new owner/builder offered to send me a picture of it finished.
I declined.

In 1965 I bought a 1959 Ferrari 250 testa rossa factory grand prix car. I got it running and loved it to pieces. I paid $2500.00 all apart. My ex wife wanted a house so I sold it for $12,500.00 and paid cash for our 1st house. I sold it to an old west coast sports car racer Pete Lovely. He did a so so restoration and kept it for 25 years. He sold it to McCaw from McCar cellular for $4.5 million. There was a recent sale of the sister car for $17 million.

So I no longer have the wife, or the house or the car. Damn I really miss the Ferrari

I wouldn't mind having my 55-56or57 Chevy's back but the one I'd really love to have back is my 65 Impala , 327-300horse 4-speed Muncie ,3.36 posi bench seat , all factory , not overly fast ,but what a great road car !! Bought it in '68 , sold it 73 , put over 100,000 miles on it , worked at the Chevy dealership , overhauled it at 88K...

sold my 40 sedan to finance a 32 roadster build. The guy I sold it to traded it to a dealer.
Been trying to find it for years.

 

My 1st car was a 55 chevy{even though it was a 4 door }I still bought it. It had the 283 motor bored out 30 over with a 4 speed trans. Bringing it home it didn't have a gas pedal just the rod sticking thru the floor board. Back then I just slapped a set of tags off another car just to get it home.I got on it a little bit coming home and the darn gas pedal rod got stuck in the floor. The light had just changed to red and I couldn't stop so I went thru it and to top it off a cop was sitting there. Why he didnt chase me I don't know and was thankful. I had a lot of fun with it and a lot of minor tickets to go with it. LOL. Bruce.

Not too long after I graduated from high school in 1967 I bought a 1961 Pontiac Bonnevile convertible. 389 factory trip-power, auto 8 lug wheels. Later I replaced the auto trans with a 3-speed. I never actually sold the car, when I got out of the army my (brother-in-law) had sold the heads from the car, dumb me never said anything to him, so that is my bad. He became an ex brother-in-law soon after, and I lost track of the car. Anyway that is the one car I would love to have back.

 

Impala SS 327 4 speed . Sold it in ‘99 .

 

Here are 3 of the many. The 65 Corvette I bought fresh out of the army. My "36" paid $3600. and it had 3600 miles on it! Traded it in on a new stick 66 Buick Grand Sport. Running and driving 50 Anglia sold it for $1000. The worst was the 34 Coupe I bought for $600. and sold for $1000. and thought I did good. Most of the are 50 years ago. Peace, Mantuajohn

Boy that's a hard one. So many cars so many years. I guess I would like to have my '64 Chevelle back, but I doubt that there is much left of it by now that was 40 or so years ago.

 

Too many to remember alright, but two come to mind. I sold my 36 ford pickup to Jim Harden, from Sacremento, while we were on the first Americacruize in 1993. I know he enjoyed it because it kept popping up in mags. I had a lot of fun with it, but it paid to get me into law school, so it was a good investment.
I also would like to get my 27 hiboy back. It was a blast. Sold it and bought a farm. Another good investment. Buyer still has that one so I hear.
Both were very dependable and I would love to have them back, but I have moved on. I have five projects in the works now.
