    I salvaged some Dort differential parts years ago and later sold them.
    What struck me was the appearance of the grease in one of them. Wax would be a better name for it. The gears had cut a neat path through it and that is where it remained.

    1919. Man...must be one of the oldest hot rods here. Almost expected to see a stock Dort. But that's no parade car. Very nice.

  15. Been a while since I saw a Dort at a cruise-in. Very attractive car, love the understated look, the plain steel wheels, nothing flashy, just nice straight metal and good workmanship. 1919 was the year my father was born. He would have turned 100 in May.

    SBC,700r,s and a S10 rear, ‘50 Chev pickup 4” drop axle, stock front and rear springs, ‘35 Ford speedo, vega box with adapted stock steering wheel
