Back from the upholstery shop several weeks ago. I'm chasing some electrical gremlins and then it will be time for fenders, running boards, and hood.

Im a big fan of 55-64 gm cars, especially full size. I know the 64 doesnt look like a hamb project, but ive never seen a car so half ass slapped together. To the oil spewing, cracked piston 350 i pulled, the shifter that about fell off by the time i got it home, and the rocker rust underneath, theres still some work to do. Mostly unf***ing crappy work done to this original tach 4 speed posi car. I almost got rid of it last year, but its really grown on me. And just my luck, the vin tag fell off. Guess im stuck with it-bummer lol!
Ill be doing a 327 and period correct gauges for it, and putting the ss hubcaps back on when i find a decent set.

Ive never been a fan of the 65-70 cars aside from the 65 super sports. This 67 managed to sneak its way home. Its got typical quarter and fender rot, but the rest is nice and solid and a lot of the car is in good shape. Its one of those "ill get to it when i get to it" cars. 20181013_193824.jpg

Got a good start then tore the Rotator Cuff on my right arm, I'm right handed, had surgery and will be laid up for 4 to 6 months. At 72, probably more like 6! IMG_1920[2850].jpg IMG_2354[2990].jpg IMG_2358[2992] - Copy.jpg IMG_2360[2989].jpg

My latest project looked really good in the pictures...but turned out to be a disaster under the pretty paint and upholstery. So it instantly became a body-off re-do project. Coming along nicely but keeping me from my other project, the Arin Cee Roadster (see link below).

This is pretty much where my other project, the Arin Cee Roadster, is at the moment - well along including all the plumbing and exhaust but not quite ready to take for a ride yet. Hope to get the red roadster roadworthy and then get back on this one soon...
