Wishbones all cleaned up. Sanded down and off to the polisher for some more sanding and then polishing. Then a shiny dip

Got the rear and other rear suspension bits in final primer today. Later on I will sand and then paint tomorrow. Going with a single stage black. This is the last of the painting on my end. I've been doing a lot of the body prep and then also paint on the suspension parts. Next week I'm going to take a couple days and clean my garage so that things will be in order for reassembly.

I had chopped my radiator a couple inches last month. The outlets needed to be moved and it also needed a recore. I'm fortunate to have a great radiator shop in my neck of the woods.

Got the last of my front suspension parts back from my friend Bob who does my polishing. He really did some great work on the spindles. Also got my airflow handles ready for a shiny dip. Dropping off this stuff to the chrome shop this weekend.

The door handles are neater than pockets on a shirt

 

Thanks, the parts actually need to be polished to almost look like Chrome before they can be dipped.

Made another run to the chrome plater this morning to drop off the last of the suspension parts and a couple of other knick-knacks. He is great about getting my stuff in and out if it's prep for him. Should be done next weekend ..can't beat the one week turn around.

Its called Boulevard Black put out by Eastwood. They are local to me and I can buy it in person so I get it there. Goes on beautiful.

Dam hate to get a kickback when buffing that axle. Look at his shoes nice coat of buffing compound fly off.

 

Final gap adjustment before it goes to the body shop. Trying to do this with metal so less filler will be needed
