Thanks John, you were partially to blame for the T-5, that and Woody shifting his like an automatic.
Christmas is knocking on the front door isn't it.
Looking forward to a fun 2019 you and yours have a fun one.

HAHA I didn't even take you for a ride in the coupe! If I would have done that or let you drive it, you would have had one much sooner! It will take a lot of work to be able to catch that 1243 coupe of Woody's haha. By the way what is that shifter on that transmission? Is it a jeep trans? I cant remember.

You know how it is... working thru new assembly items on the Vicky. Used Charlie Prices adjustable main jets on the 97's.
I don't know why he supplies a nylon washer that doesn't fit, thus doesn't seal. Drips fuel like crazy. Wrong material in my mind for the application. IMG_20181225_102208.jpg The part he provides is made so it has a shoulder on the sealing area and won't accept the fiber washer off the stock plug.
Turned down the shoulder and used the washer off the plug. IMG_20181225_103602.jpg Problem solved.

Broke down and installed am electric fuel pump. Fits in the frame nicely and no pressure regulator. We'll see how it lasts

Well, Santa didn't bring it - but I bought back my grandfather's welder which has a good Model A engine, as a spare for my T roadster. Don't have any room or use for such a large welder, so I'm preserving the engine and the frame and axles (for an OT project).

Been working on the banger for my AA doodlebug. It's an old .045 over rebuild I got out of a parts 31 AA I bought. It looks like it should run ok. Its hooked to two 4 speeds and an early top drive truck rearend. 20181216_141603.jpeg 20181209_204343.jpeg 20180923_214023.jpeg

Not as far as I know, they dont use them in other applications..3" short tube type intake manifold. That being said your guess is as good as mine.I am going to tie the two small vacuum ports below the throttle plates together to help equalize vacuum at idle, might have to go bigger with an equalizer tube between the two runners...say 3/8ths or so,only if necessary.Ran on the other application without it..

Weber 34 ICT's..Vw aircooled aftermarket carbs.about 82 CFM per carb,I figure it should work as well or better than a single downdraft. They have a way more refined diaphragm style accelerator pump and offer multiple main jet combinations for tuning,a simple emulsion tube style carb.Figure they will spool up a little quicker being closer to the cylinder than the Stromberg, the refined accel pump will help limit the overfueling .Putting them on a stock A bottom end on babbit, sleeved to stock, B cam,B flywheel B distributor. Put on a milled snyder 5.5 (no piston reliefs, but no protrusion either) converted to 12v and hung a fuel pump over the weekend..ran it with the Stromberg, which woke up with adequate fuel pressure.Still going to finish the weber carb lash up just to see the difference..or it it will work..this is low horsepower stuff, moderate compression flathead.Still sorting out exhaust..
