Technical Exhaust on 49-54 Chevy cars

Hey guys. Merry Christmas. I have a question about exhaust. I have a 50 fleetline with bags all around and I was wondering how you guys are running exhaust pipes. I really wanted side pipes because I'm not sure if I'm going to have clearance at the rear with sitting low and with a Mustang tank. Any advice or photos would be helpful, thanks.

 

More details might help with information you've requested.......what sort've engine? Original six cylinder with duals? SBC or other V8?
