I want to sell this off but I don’t know what it is. Can any one identify it. Any help is appreciated.
Between this response and the one to HRP's front tag thread I am thinking you discovered Cap'n Morgan's eggnog recipe Rocky. Makes for a merrier holiday!!
Nonsense...this is me, Stock. Don't drink, don't chew and don't go out with girls that do. BTW, I give it a 1927 Graham Paige.
I’ll bet on it........ or some other Chrysler product....... just like a henway ....... just friggin like.....
I have been google imaging all afternoon and I am starting to think it’s a 1925 - 1937 Nash Six cowl. The windscreen staunchion mounting holes and cowl mounting holes look about right. The alligator opening cowl vent and deeply recessed firewall to fit an inline SIX are the other clues. This by no means a definitive conclusion. If I could get google images of Nash firewalls, I would know for certain.
Was going to suggest 26-28 Studebaker, but upon Google image search, they all appear to have stamped "feet" towards the bottom
We actually did Black Strap rum this year. I did a little more then I should have and had a smoke but it still did not insulate me from the Holiday. Oh the cowl may be Buick. I was going to say Dodge Bros but it may be Buick. Pre depression era
I’ll try!!!!!! How about a Willy’s product of the 20’s to 30’s perhaps a Whippet or a Stearns-Knight???????
I made another observation about this cowl, most have a slight taper down at the top to meet the door “Diagram A” This one is verticle “Diagram B”
That suggests this cowl might not be for a Roadster or Tourer at all but rather a commercial vehicle possibly even a closed cab version.
I took a photo of this BB Ford Truck in 2009. The cowl is the same type that was used in the 32-34 Roadster Pickups, School buses, Fire Engines and other types.
The A Pillar sits flush with the top of the cowl. This partiular Truck had what we call “half doors” in Australia, which are basically the same as Roadster doors. Although many of the same trucks had more normal full doors with windup windows.
