    Here is one I built for my Track T, it is mild steel, and it is now painted Olive Drab.

    One I just finished. Chrome plated .090" 4130 with wood grips.

    Just some samples that I make

    PURPLE HEART & MAPLE
    WALNUT & MAPLE
    LEOPARD WOOD
    TULIP WOOD
    or any type of wood
    all CNC and can reasonably make grips to fit ANY wheel style

  13. Anyone ever (or have a friend who) put a butterfly steering wheel on a street car?
    Maybe a Roth-style T-bucket or something similar???

    Adding handle grips really adds to the driver comfort level. I've used both with and without. I have found that using skateboard nut inserts to hold the valves together is a slick way to install the screws securely in non-metallic grips.

    Here's a set I made for The Last Logghe altered.

    Years ago we ordered the handle hardware for a cooking pot till there were no more cause everyone went to molded handles or bare metal style. Use to refer to them as "sex bolts" now I use alu binding posts and cut the heads down
