1 is as per this throat and air jets 3 are like this,. I have 4 -94’s, 3 are identical in the throat, 1 is different, see pics. Anyone know if this is OK, or should I change the one
The top one is a good candidate for a secondary carb in a multi carb system because the idle circuits tend to be a little on the lean side.
2 have no markings, been polished off! 1 has a Ford in an oval, (that’s the top one) and one has a Ford in a large square.i think they all have 94 on them
The front LH carb is the different one These are going on a Man-A-Fre manifold, they are all primary carbs.
Here's a little education. None of them are Strombergs. They are either Chandler Groves, Holley, or Ford.
Def not an expert, but recently adopted my fathers Model T which have 4 Holley 94/2100s so have been doing a ton of research as they needed a rebuild. The attached may help in identification. I understand from my reading that even withing the Holley 94 models there were a few variations.
Interesting little screws coming out of the access plugs for the jets. I'd take the top of one carb and look-see what they do. The nozzles in the top pic are later design. Can't remember the reason for the change.
They were for a leaner idle. Look at the 3 air bleed holes whereas the other picture shows only one bleed.
Yes, they have adjustable mains. Can the odd carb be retrofitted with the same nozzles as the other 3?
