I took my engine hoist over to the shop with my Riviera parts car and decided I was going to see how far I could get toward pulling the engine and then I'd try to round up some help.

    Decided not to call anybody.
Luckily, a friend stopped by at the perfect time to help me get it into my pickup.

  3. Repop windshield frame and repop regulator lined up with the usual "great" fit; but didn't get into that today, still working on making the repop grille, repop grill brackets, and repop radiator mesh.

DSCF9263.JPG I've had this Shell globe for 50 years, bought it from the guy that owned the station it came from. Today I called his son and sold it back to him, he is now the owner of the building built in 1928. I really felt good about that. Bob

Took the delayed wipers out of the 66 F100 today and put the original 2 speed wipers back in,tomorrows project is to remove the front and rear sway bars. Its been up for sale and getting nothing but low ball offers so the good stuff I put on are coming off and do have someone coming to look at it after Christmas, planing of getting another late 70s for a road trip truck since it would have more interior room for long trips and will put those parts on it.

Not exactly sure. My cousin owns a saw mill and thought I’d save the logs and truck them down. Wild hair and I can say I did.

Went down memory lane after seeing that car. Back in high school, many moons ago, we had mostly junk cars that we tried to soup up with varied results. Then in 1968 my friend, Ronnie’s,brother gave him a 1964 low mileage baby blue GTO. Holley crap ! A four year old car! That would start every time and run like a scolded dog! Wow!
More than once, Ronnie, scared the crap out of me coming to a corner at speed and making it. I was accustomed to the cornering abilities of my MEL powered 55 Ford, or maybe the lack of abilities.lol.
We raced that GTO against anything on wheels and won most of them. Ronnie was a little smarter than the rest of us, he didn’t mess with his car. Guess he figured he couldn’t improve on perfection.
Like most of my old buddies from high school , Ronnie is not with me anymore. But thanks for the trip, I enjoyed it.

Got out of bed, had coffee while catching up on phone stuff; then I shaved and now in front of putor..Managed to uncap a blood vessel when shaving so waiting for it to recap; hate it when it happens..When the bleeding stops I'll run a few errands in the Crosley..

Not HAMB friendly but some of you will understand I added a front and rear facing cameras to my pick-up. Out of necessity I must travel in South Little Saigon Ca. (Fountain Valley) :(

I got my new HAMB beanie hat in the mail today! I promptly put it on and commenced the annual leaf grind up extravaganza here. The hat worked like the proverbial charm considering I was using an off topic zero turn mower.
