Gotta say, I hate being 2 steps over the line---------------------

 

And on the eighth day, God created the small block, and it was good, and he rested. The big blocks have't rested since.
Or something like that! Small blocks with big block CID's. And here I am playing with little 265's and 283's; what's wrong with me? I am Butch/56sedandelivery.

Really dig this Nova, especially the engine.
Curious, is your dual snorkel air cleaner a GM issue, if so how about a photo of the base.
Back when I was doing my car in its restored (appearing) iteration I aquired this really nice original chrome top, a shame the guy didn't have the base as they are harder to find than the top, and extremely pricey, I have a friend that bought an NOS base CHEAP
Plans changed and sold the top for twice what I paid.
