This car was owned by a friend of mine, Tom Olsen, (that's him in the photo) e0be7af930ccd9544e2d403facc63307.jpg teaserbox_7637400.jpg before he took a vacation to S.E. Asia. This is his current 56.

  3. Wow! Is that now retired detective Tom Olson in front of Marv Luvro's 66 station on the corner of 41st Street and Western Avenue in about 1967 in my hometown of Sioux Falls, SD? Earl Britt's National Record holding Pizza Man '53 Corvette was often there too! I graduated from Washington High School in 1970 and "cruised the loop" in my blue 1957 Chevy 210 many nights......

  8. The 1 you posted is the same car and not a Lobeck car,, but close 2 it. Has different wheels now and the Gawd Awful graphics (soon 2 B gone) on the side panels

In the mid '70s had a pair of '56 Pontiac Safaris. Nice car but the first year Jetaway was not a very good trans.

  12. Ok. I knew Lobeck built a 32 Sedan Delivery, and when I googled him this car showed up. There is another 32 delivery that showed up too, that's probably the one I was thinking of. Here's a picture of the other one. Hope it doesn't get deleted for being to much of a street rod.

We didn't get them in the US, but Pontiac of Canada offered a two door wagon in 1960.

The dead giveaway are the wheels and Firestone dirt track tires.

Love your talent Rusty1! I had a Saab at one time (68' fiberglass Sonnet) but I just love the model 97 below. The name is priceless! I always though one of these would make a bitchen little altered or small block gasser.
