T Buckets make great race cars too

 

I just recently picked this all steel t bucket on a modified A frame with steering and the 4 wheels for $500.00. It sat up in a guys woods. Possibly an old '80's hot rod. I added the keg for mock up.

 

Since I got it I redid the front end and sanded it down to a nice shinny metal look.

 

Here's how I found it.

 

Just found this thread. Your build is something that I considered for many years. Cheap/fast and maybe some inspiration from early altereds? Cool

i agree.I first saw Randi's bucket at the mini east street rod meet in Md. they are the besttttt.

I built one from the front half of a 27 touring body.
