  1. Roll cage hoop and halo are being made and other bars for 12 point, should be shipped to me by the 19th. So got the shop organized and the coupe into position. Started removing interior , and getting metal stock together, gussets , plate steel, etc.

Cleaned/organized a section of the "office", in reality it is just the same as rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I did find a few things to share on some HAMB threads and sold one. All in all a good but cold day. Bob

  3. Ive spent the last few days in the shop cutting & welding. Im fabricating a new outside furnace. I got a big metal case that once held a electric transformer. Welded in a support for a grate. made a front from heavy diamond plate steel. got a large cast iron door hung on it . built a heavy door for access to remove the ashes. Thinking about installing some heat exchange pipes? This wood furnace will be big enough to accept a 40 inch long chunk of firewood. Im hoping to only have to feed it once a day? Its cold here already . Right now its 24 degrees outside. and the stove I now have I gotta feed it every 4 hours.

  4. I like to poision mice & rats. It got to where DCon didn't kill them? I bought some Farnam Just one Bite II Bar poison from the feed store. Kinda expensive 8 pounds cost $40. but it actually works It states on the box It kills warfarin resistant rats.

  5. Blew the Modified apart and started welding up everything I haven't been able to get to, including the original chassis rivet holes. Welded in the rear spring channel too.

I was sitting cross legged on the floor welding up some brackets and a bit of weld spatter went down the top of my boiler suit and went my chest, missed my somewhat substantial stomach, and landed on my testicles - boy did that smart.... I jumped up and did the dance.

I'm now smoothing everything off with a soft pad on a grinder and my power file. Think I'd better buy a decent breathing mask.

That’s pretty serious,I would of just used some burn cream myself.

  8. Haha!! Yeah, that would be the chassis and not my balls.

Although there are plenty of British politicians who would pay big money to have their testicles smoothed off with a powefile...

Got this new to me compressor up and running,my 30 year old C/H compressor could not keep up with air tools after almost self destructing a couple years ago. The old one is going in the basement so I can paint models.

Installed the newly finished backseat with seat belts in the ‘64. This will allow me to drive it more since I drop off my boys at school every morning (for another year until my oldest can drive) and couldn’t do that without a back seat:)

not much today, yesterday went to a Charity Fund Show in Folsom, Ca to get donations for victims of the Big Camp Fire - put on by Nor-Cal Nostalgia Drag Racing Association -they lost everything to the the fire too - then went to the Metal Mart, next visit a shop that does Cool sign paint/neon work with a big collection of all kinds of stuff, then to a shop that does a lot of work on OT Hot Rods, finally on way home ran into Bud Bryant. 20181215_154145.jpg 20181215_095542.jpg 20181215_122120.jpg 20181215_122417.jpg 20181215_145759 (2).jpg
