The front end treatment sure got my attention. I guess he will be wrapping the bar grill around the other side of the headlights. Very kool idea, I can't wait to see more progress on this project....

 

Can someone get a photo of the VIN plate so I can share it with the Edsel group on Facebook? They are always trying to account for the whereabouts of any remaining Edsels. I'd also appreciate additional information and pics of the car.

I am not really sure I get that front cove. I love the rest of the front end but that cut out just looks odd to me like it was added for the sake of adding something. Maybe once it is all painted it won't look so out of place.

 

I do think when painted it will pull together. With the stacked headlights that area on the front of the fender may have looked to "slab Sided" without the coves breaking it up a little.. Cool car.

My dad had a brand new 55 Savoy.This will probably get me in trouble but I always thought the Plymouth had the best styling of the low priced three that year.

Some paint and a shave..

 

That's some eye-poppin' paint; but what grabs my attention are the Ford/Merc front wheel openings, and the flared extended skirts.

This 57’ 210 hardtop is just beautiful! I love the fact that it is not a Bel Air and how simple it looks. It even looks like it still has the factory paint.

A mild kustom push truck....can’t much much cooler than this pic...only thing that would make it cooler was if Jayne Mansfield or Sophia Loren we’re driving it
