Some of you guys might even know the car or have at least seen it if you get StreetScene. Anyway here is my new to me 1935 Ford Sedan Flatback. My plans for it mainly include driving it and having fun in it

Photo from last Monday when I got it.

Photo that appeared on the cover of StreetScene. I was also the person that took this photo. So to say I’ve had my eye on this car for awhile is an understatement.

Sweet, it's got to be dang nice to be able to buy a car that just flat does not need changing around.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Just got back from running around the neighborhood with family in the car. So much fun although the wife says it needs a heater.

When my wife makes a comment like that I ASK her to put it in the budget. I haven't got a heater yet and it's been 20 yrs...……..

I actually had two vintage heaters given to me. One is kind of utilitarian and the other is more Art Deco. I am going to try and restore the Art Deco one and install in the car. The only thing is the car has a perfect smooth recessed firewall that I hate to drill into.

Depending on the heater size you could make a bracket to bolt under the dash, or a floor mount. You can probably route your heater hoses to avoid drilling through the main part of the firewall. On the other hand, as hot as it gets in MO in the summer, you might just install Vintage air/heat...

That’s not really true for everyone. Life without a good woman to share it with can be a lonely life.
