How come I don’t recall roof design on solid black car mid picture and white one in front of it? Notice the rear “C” pillars on roof of those two ’56 Chevy’s.

 

They're 4 door hardtops....Bel Air of course.
On the white one.you can see the rear door handle more clearly.

 

OK… Thanks... I guess the solid color was also throwing me, didn’t see many Bel Air’s painted that way.

I've said this many times but still wish I had been born a few years earlier to see cars like the Luzader coupe run in person, could only enjoy through the car rags of the day.
Here is my favorite photo of Harry's' car in action.


Almost as soon as the ’32 hit the track it was clear that Luzader’s combination of parts and tuning knowledge were a winner, as was his driving. The crisp, green ’32 had the appeal of a freshly printed $100-dollar bill, and an 8,000 rpm screaming small-block. His home track, Pittsburgh International Raceway, found a ready and frequent winner in C/Gas class, and in Street Eliminator contests.

Arch Hall, actually a pretty cool dude. The Choppers is a really good movie. That's Tommy Ivo's T-Bucket.

As of a few years ago Arch Hall was traveling with his band but I haven't followed lately.
