    That would have been from the Chevrolet plant on McDonough Blvd..

    Awww come on guys quit picking on the little guy. Saabs were eccentric, but that wasn't that bad a thing. I owned a 96 which looks like the one in the picture and a 95 which was a wagon based on the 96. Both had Ford V4 engines that were use by other European cars, but also had industrial uses. Their freewheeling feature allows for left foot braking as you could easily shift without the clutch. My wife and I competed in many road rallies in our Saabs and loved them dearly.

    Looks like this photo might have been shot at CDR in Colorado. Its been many years since I was there . Spectators sat on the side of the hill above the track. Track has been closed for many years. There was a guy from Colorado springs that had a green t with a W motor.. It was feathered in HOT ROD magazine About 1964 or 65 I still have the mag somewhere in a box, That's what makes me think it's CDR. There have been a couple photos of it on the HAMB in the past.
