Ray, thanks for stopping by Sheps on your way to TROG. It was great seeing you guys again and quite an experience seeing your amazing car in person. The pictures of it racing on the beach are fantastic. Congratulations on a job well done!

Ray I hadn't kept up with this post as I was away and didn't know if you made it to TROG or not. I saw some pictures someone had posted where you were being towed and so I didn't know if you were able to run it or not. I now see you did. I have to say the fact that you built this is impressive, the fact you did it in such a short time is nothing short of amazing! Great job! I hope it ran like you wanted it to. Very cool!

My hat is off to you Sir. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this come to life thru this build, and you got to do the fun part. A just reward for all of the work you did. Congratulations!

It was great to meet such a talented yet humble builder/racer. I loved your "Balls to the Wall" right out of the gate "Shakedown Pass". FANTASTIC!!!

Thanks Gordon. The tow rig was always part of the plan. Because of the limited visibility and the water tank for cooling we thought it just made more sense. IMG_1364.JPG

Your too kind . I was actually pedaling it a bit . The car has some pretty long legs . I still have yet to see 3rd gear.

  10. I think I remember you saying the D-Fender was the sketchiest, how do they compare?

No comparison. This is being strapped into a projectile 2” off the ground with almost no visibility while your deafened and cooked . Hahahah. Absolutely ridiculous! Don’t get me wrong though, it super fun!

When I first saw the last pics I thought, "oh look Ray already has a diorama of his car with a tow vehicle!" I had to look twice to see it was live shots! LOL!:)

Gordon, Man I thought the same thing, at first glance that 1st picture didn't look real. I think it was that white coupe I thought it was a model as well. Once I really looked I saw the people and realized it was a photo...
